The MHBA held it’s Annual Housing Forum & Trade Show on November 10, 2021 at the Victoria Inn. This was the first in-person event hosted by the MHBA since March 2020 due to the pandemic.
Keynote speaker, Michael Thompson, walked our audience through the effects of stress on the body, and taught us different skills and strategies to help manage our energy, create greater connections and become more effective individuals. A bio-feedback demonstration was done in order to highlight our sensitivity to stress and what we can do to address it.
During the day, the MHBA offered three different breakout session streams (sales & marketing, health & safety, technical). Prime contractor safety responsibilities, improving home-owner education on operating and maintaining a new home, properly installing HRV/ERV ventilation systems, and vaccination policies in the work place were just some of the many sessions made available to MHBA members.
Through the Building Trade Show, MHBA members also experience cutting edge building technology and the newest in building materials offered by our supplier members.
Attendees participated in a Passport Contest with a grand prize of $2,500.00, which was presented to one lucky individual at the end of the day.
