Fall Parade of Homes (Sept. 21st – Oct. 13th)
The 2024 Fall Parade of Homes, held from September 21 to October 13, featured 144 stunning new homes by 33 MHBA builders across 25 neighborhoods. This event showcased a diverse range of housing options and attracted a record-breaking 53k+ visitors—the highest attendance in the Parade’s history!

Fall Gala (October 18th)
The Fall Gala, held at the RBC Convention Centre, brought together 740 attendees from over 80 member companies. It was a night of celebration, networking, and recognition of the year’s achievements.

Housing Forum & Trade Show (November 14th)
The Annual Housing Forum & Trade Show took place at the Victoria Inn in Winnipeg and marked a historic moment for the industry. Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew and Winnipeg Mayor Scott Gillingham joined a panel discussion moderated by CJOB’s Richard Cloutier, addressing key industry challenges. The event also featured professional development sessions, unparalleled networking opportunities, and our exclusive members-only trade show.

Chair’s Reception (November 20th)
Held at Niakwa Country Club, the Annual Chair’s Reception celebrated Spencer Curtis for his outstanding leadership as Chair of the Board of Directors and welcomed David Eggerman as the new Chair.

Housing Forum Sessions (November 14th)
At the Annual Housing Forum and Trade Show, the MHBA offered attendees with three specialized breakout streams tailored to different facets of the industry. The technical stream, presented by the CHBA’s LEEP Technology Forums, focused on best practices for sizing, selecting, and installing air source heat pumps—a key topic in energy-efficient building. The marketing & sales stream delved into the transformative potential of AI tools for homebuilders. Meanwhile, the safety stream addressed hazard identification and communication, critical components for maintaining safe construction environments.
