Q4 ACTIVITIES RECAP
As 2025 came to a close, the Manitoba Home Builders’ Association wrapped up a strong final quarter filled with meaningful connections, impactful learning opportunities, and high-profile member promotion. From signature events and industry education to the 45th Anniversary of the Parades of Homes, Q4 demonstrated MHBA’s continued commitment to helping our members grow, connect, and succeed.
Here’s a look back at the highlights from October through December 2025.
The Fall Parade of Homes ran from September 20 to October 12 and showcased 135 new homes built by 32 MHBA builders across 23 neighbourhoods throughout Manitoba.
This year marked a major milestone—the 45th Anniversary of the Parade of Homes—celebrated with an expanded promotional campaign and engaging social media giveaways. These efforts helped drive traffic to show homes and attracted nearly 50,000 visitors, reinforcing the Parade’s role as a cornerstone of consumer engagement for our industry.

Fall Masquerade Gala (October 31)
Held at the RBC Winnipeg Convention Centre, the Fall Masquerade Gala was a night to remember. This signature celebration brought the MHBA community together to recognize the achievements, dedication, and leadership of our members. More than just a gala, the evening was a celebration of excellence across the residential construction industry.

Housing Forum & Trade Show (November 13)
The Annual Housing Forum & Trade Show returned to the Victoria Inn Winnipeg, welcoming members from across the industry for a full day of learning, networking, and innovation.
The morning opened with a national perspective from Kevin Lee, CEO of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association, who shared updates on federal advocacy wins, policy developments, and CHBA initiatives supporting MHBA members. During the luncheon keynote, Rohit Verma of Statistics Canada presented insights from the latest New Housing Market in Canada report, offering valuable data on trends and pricing across major Canadian markets.
Throughout the day, attendees participated in one of three specialized breakout streams—Technical, Marketing & Sales, and Workplace Health & Safety—each designed to address key challenges and opportunities within the industry.

Chair’s Reception (November 19)
Hosted at Niakwa Country Club, the Annual Chair’s Reception honoured David Eggerman for his exceptional leadership as Chair of the Board of Directors and welcomed Arin Comack as the incoming Chair. The evening celebrated leadership, continuity, and the strength of MHBA’s governance.
