Annual Chair’s Reception (2025)
The Manitoba Home Builders’ Association hosted its Annual Chair’s Reception on November 19, 2025, at Niakwa Country Club. The evening celebrated MHBA’s rich history, its esteemed past and present leadership, and the strong sense of camaraderie that defines the association.
The MHBA extends its sincere appreciation to Dave Eggerman for his outstanding leadership as Chair of the Board of Directors over the past year. His dedication to advancing the association’s advocacy at the federal, provincial, and municipal levels has been invaluable. From representing MHBA at national meetings to elevating Manitoba’s voice on key residential construction issues, Dave’s contributions have made a significant and lasting impact.
Dave also played a pivotal role in strengthening MHBA’s relationship with Manitoba Hydro’s senior management team, helping to coordinate and facilitate joint visits to Alberta and Saskatchewan. His efforts have directly contributed to improved servicing timelines from Manitoba Hydro and have paved the way for the development of a new early energization pathway.
Stepping into the role of Chairperson for the 2025–2026 term is Arin Comack, a dedicated MHBA Board member for five years and an integral member of the Executive Committee for the past two. Arin’s active involvement across the association, whether serving on committees, supporting events, or participating in educational sessions, reflects a long-standing MHBA principle: the value you gain from your membership is equal to the value you invest. Arin truly exemplifies this commitment, and we are excited to welcome him as our incoming Chair.
The 2025 Chair’s Reception once again proved to be a wonderful evening, featuring exceptional food and captivating entertainment from the talented duo Andrew & Andrew. Members enjoyed the opportunity to connect with peers, build new relationships, and strengthen professional networks.
