he 2022 version of The Winnipeg Renovation Show was rescheduled and we’re excited that it will return next week — on from February 18 to 20 at the RBC Convention Centre. This show has traditionally kicked off the new year for home renovations. While we’ve had to wait an extra month, Manitoba Home Builders’ Association renovator members are excited that the show is back on after a one-year absence due to the pandemic.

Home renovations are a very big part of our lifestyle. Manitobans historically spend more on home renovations per capita than any other province, and we consistently spend more money on renovations than on new home construction.

The Winnipeg Renovation Show provides consumers with the chance to visit with hundreds of renovation suppliers and contractors all under one roof. It is also unique in that it provides a one-stop venue for consumers to test the renovation market and see, touch and feel what’s new and exciting in home renovation. The MHBA’s “Ask A Renovator” booth will once again be staffed by professional Manitoba Home Builders’ Association RenoMark renovators who are available to answer your questions about an upgrade or renovation project you may be planning or dreaming about. These professional renovators can provide you with a free 15-minute consultation to help steer you in the right direction towards a new project for your home. Just come to the Show and you will be able to pick the brains of some of Manitoba’s finest renovators.

Whether you are a do it yourselfer or looking for a professional to help, the “Ask A Renovator” booth is the perfect starting point for your next renovation project. No matter how big or small, no matter if you’re committed to or just considering a project, make sure you start your next renovation project off on the right foot with professional advice.

The show opens on Friday, Feb. 18 at noon and continues until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20. HGTV Canada’s Love It or List It Vancouver co-host Todd Talbot will be one of the special celebrity speakers on the Lifestyle Stage. There is a full slate of presenters throughout the show with plenty of valuable information to share with you. Your ticket to the show gets you in to see all of the entertaining and interesting stage presenters.

The event will be held in accordance with Manitoba Public Health orders. Capacity is limited to 50 per cent, all attendees are required to be fully vaccinated (please bring your vaccine card and ID with you), and masks are required. Be sure to get your tickets soon so that you don’t miss out on the first big home renovation event in almost two years.
