Next Saturday, Manitoba’s best home builders will begin a three week showcase of 122 new show homes during the Manitoba Home Builders’ Association’s 2020 Spring Parade of Homes.

From Feb. 29 to March 22 you’ll have the chance to see the newest trends in home building design and the latest fashions in home decorating. For those looking at buying a new home, the parade is the perfect way to see the best in today’s new housing market. Not only does this event feature show homes in many of Winnipeg’s newest neighbourhoods, there are also great show homes for viewing in communities outside Winnipeg, including homes in Brandon, Birds Hill, Niverville, Stonewall, Selkirk, La Salle, St. Adolphe, East St. Paul, Ritchot, East Selkirk, Oak Bluff, West St. Paul and Headingley.

The 2020 Spring Parade of Homes is truly a Manitoba-wide event.

The parade is also a great way for those who may not yet be in the market to build a new home to see leading edge trends in home technology, decor, finishings and fixtures. Many people who visit the show homes are just curious to see what the hottest trends in home decorating are, or they are looking for ideas for a renovation to their existing home. Kitchens, bathrooms and the latest technology in the show homes are always a huge draw.

With changing tastes and lifestyles, our builders understand that a detached single-family home may not be the right fit for everyone. That’s why new condos are also an important feature. Condos are a very attractive option for many potential new home buyers and our builders have entered 11 new condo show homes for you to visit.

Be sure to look for #paradeofhomesmb and follow the MHBA on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter as we will be featuring each of the 32 different MHBA builders who together are presenting 122 show homes in this year’s spring parade. Look for the 2020 Spring Parade of Homes magazine in your Free Press home delivery next Saturday. You can also pick up a copy at any Steinbach Credit Union and a digital copy is available at homebuilders.mb.ca. Visiting the MHBA website will also provide you with more details on each featured show home and connect you with your favourite show home’s builder.

You never know. You could just fall in love with one of the homes you see or a neighbourhood you visit and decide that a new home is right for you.
