Show’s the right place for renovation inspiration

Home renovations are a big part of our lifestyle in Manitoba. Historically Manitobans spend more per capita on home renovations than residents of any other province, and Manitobans consistently put out more on renovations than on new home construction. Home renovations are big business and Manitoba Home Builders’ Association renovator members are excited to once again be part of the 2024 Winnipeg Renovation Show, taking place from Jan. 12-14 at the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg. The 2024 version of the show is only a few weeks away and has traditionally kicked off the new year for home renovations.
The show provides consumers with the chance to visit with hundreds of renovation suppliers and contractors all under one roof. It is also unique in that it provides a one-stop venue for consumers to test the renovation market and see, touch and feel what’s new and exciting in home renovation. The MHBA’s “Ask a Renovator” booth will once again be staffed by professional MHBA RenoMark renovators who are available to answer your questions about an upgrade or renovation project you may be planning or dreaming about. These professional renovators can provide you with a free 15-minute consultation to help steer you in the right direction toward a new project for your home. Just come to the show and you’ll be able to pick the brains of some of Manitoba’s finest renovators.
Whether you are a do-it-yourselfer or looking for a professional to help, the “Ask a Renovator” booth is the perfect starting point for your next renovation project. No matter how big or small, no matter if you’re committed to or just considering a project, make sure you start your next renovation project off on the right foot with professional advice.
The Winnipeg Renovation Show opens at noon on Friday, Jan. 12 and continues until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14. Celebrity contractor and TV host Sherry Holmes, star of HGTV Canada’s Holmes: Next Generation, will be one of the special celebrity speakers appearing on the Lifestyle Stage. The show features a full slate of presenters over the course of the weekend, offering up plenty of valuable information encompassing the full spectrum of renovation.
