How long has your company been in business?
Dynasty Bathrooms is very proud to have been in business for over 38 years started locally and striving to be Winnipeg’s Renovation Destination.
What services do you offer?
The bathroom and the kitchen are the most widely used rooms in a home. Not a day goes by without multiple encounters in these spaces of your home. That’s why our main focus is here, to provide the spaces you use the most to be the most loved. With ever changing lifestyles and dynamics of families, the types of products, room flows and efficiencies in these spaces define not only the space but those who live in it.
As well as offering all the products you may need for your bathroom or kitchen renovation, we perform full service installations. Our teams of installers bring over 100 years of combined experience and have done it all. Tile floors up to the ceilings, seamless shower entries and built-in custom seating are just the start. We have performed renovations where walls were removed and an open concept kitchen with an island were put in its place. Or put a bathroom where there was only a closet or a spare bedroom before. The options are endless and we work with our clients – and their homes – to see what’s possible to turn that dream into a reality that will be loved (and utilized) for years.
What is your company’s greatest achievement?
Our biggest achievement was turning Dynasty Bathrooms into a “dynasty” where the business has been able to expand to offer a second showroom in South Winnipeg (just off Sterling Lyons Parkway) as well as our flag ship showroom and warehouse on Logan Avenue. Our clients can come view thousands of products that are available for their home renovations as well as see the work that can be done by our installers. We offer various design styles and ideas and work with our clients to put together the perfect look to go with their budget.
Tell us about your team!
We’ve also grown our team, where we started out as a one-man operation we are now a group of about 20 which consists of sales staff, estimators, installers, warehouse and admin staff and continues to be family-run. We have a handful of our associates who have been with Dynasty Bathrooms for over 25 years!
How has the pandemic impacted your business and how have you adapted?
With homes being so important to us all, especially in the last few years where many of us spent a lot of hours at home, we were happy that we could continue to provide service to our clients through these times. It did bring about some challenges such as product delays and supply chain issues but it too brought us to explore opportunities to help our clients even more, such as the addition of online e-commerce shopping off our website.
What is the best part about being a MHBA member?
Being part of the MHBA allows us to provide our clients with extra trust and assurances that they are hiring the right people for the job. We follow all standards, ensure we are atop on new requirements, carry adequate insurance coverage and workers compensation.
Being on board of the MHBA for over 30 years is important to us so we are the first to know about any changes coming across in our industry and our voice can be heard on matters that are important to our clients. We have Master Renovator accreditation since 2004.
What is your favourite MHBA event? Why?
Our favorite event held by the MHBA is the RenoMark Awards. We love to showcase the work done in both designing new spaces and the installation of. And we especially love to celebrate when we win any of the category awards. It’s also great fun to see the work other local companies like us are doing and see what’s trending in style.
