How long has your company been in business?

Federated Insurance is 100% Canadian owned and operated and has been in business for 103 years.

What services do you offer?

We offer custom insurance products based on a businesses individual needs in the commercial sector. We can also assist with Individual & Corporate Life Insurance, Disability and critical illness and Group Health Insurance benefits.
The fact is that we do not write or even quote most businesses. We prefer to be a specialist rather than a generalist.

Trust. Advise. Protect.

What is your company’s greatest achievement?

At the end of the day, insurance is just a promise to be there if something goes wrong. We pride ourselves in knowing your business matters to us most.

Once a year you cut a cheque and may wonder what it is I am paying for.Our clients renew their insurance policies with us at a rate of 97%, they are satisfied with their claims experience 92% of the time.

What are your business goals for 2023?

To showcase the Federated advantage to MHBA members. It is not just the company, but the agents that set us apart from our competitors.

How long have you been a MHBA member?

We have been an associate member for almost 25 years!

Why did you decide to join the MHBA?

General speaking, MHBA builders and contractors are more experienced and professional than non-members. We recognize and value these businesses.

What is the best part about being a MHBA member?

Having a dedicated professional staff thriving to create value for members. MHBA’s variety of events enables us to socialize and get to know the members.

What is your favourite MHBA event?

The golf tournament! Sunny warm weather and everyone is having a great time.

How has being an MHBA benefited your business?

MHBA’s endorsement of Federated is a great source of pride. Their confidence in us translates to members giving us the opportunity to earn their business.

What is your favourite service that your company has done?

Contractor Errors and Omission coverage, Builder’s re-work coverage and having a blanket course of construction policy that covers renovations and new construction with a hassle free audit reporting system of reconciliation.

What else would you like to share about your company?
