Will Zhang, the CEO of OpenHouse.ai, is recognized as a pioneer in leveraging Artificial Intelligence to optimize operational planning, predict market demand, and maximize ROI for home builders. His expertise extends across various industries, including supply chain, finance, and utilities, bringing invaluable insights to the home building sector. Will holds a Master’s in Business from NYU Stern School of Business and a Master of Engineering from Université Grenoble Alpes. As a council member at the Urban Land Institute, he contributes extensive knowledge in AI and digital transformation, empowering builders across over 20 cities in the US and Canada.
David Lynch
David is the Head of Growth at OpenHouse.ai, focusing on developing sales strategies, building teams, and creating marketing programs. With over 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, and growth roles, David is dedicated to shaping effective messaging and infrastructure to support OpenHouse.ai’s expansion in the homebuilding industry. Originally from Ireland, David has lived in Madrid, London, New York, and Bogotá, and is now based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He speaks English and Spanish, enjoys playing golf, exploring acting, and traveling to take acting classes when he can. Music and meeting new people are also important parts of his life.

“LEEP AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMPS CAPACITY WORKSHOPS“

This workshop series presented by CHBA’s LEEP Technology Forums provides contractors with best practices for sizing, selecting, and installing Air Source Heat Pumps.
These sessions will give context to the considerations and pain points when considering Air Source Heat Pump solutions. Key discussions will include how to leverage ASHP’s in meeting upcoming high-performance requirements; resources that include NRCan’s new ASHP Sizing & Selection tool; the critical role ductwork design and proper installation plays in effective distribution systems; challenges with heat pump controls & operation; and overall system selection best practices. Current Federal and Provincial financial incentives and offers for heat pumps available to builders and homeowners will also be addressed.

“HAZARD IDENTIFICATION”

This session will focus on strategies employers and supervisors can use to ensure hazards are identified , communicated and controlled in the workplace. Tying hazard assessments to the construction schedule will be a topic of discussion.
SECOND SESSION (1:30 PM – 2:45 PM)
“COMMUNICATION IN CONSTRUCTION”
Presentation by Ross Jardine, CSAM
The importance of communication in construction is critical to the success of the project , often site safety is not part of that conversation this session will focus on site safety communication both internally and externally to the project partners and stakeholders.
THIRD SESSION (3:00 PM – 4:15 PM)
“WCB PRESENTATION AND DISCUSSION”
Presentation by Bob Craddock, CSAM
Join Bob Craddock to discuss everything you want to know about WCB but were too afraid to ask! This session will include a presentation on managing rates, who is responsible for reporting and paying rates, common injury types, who is considered a ‘deemed’ worker, and more. Following the presentation there will be an open discussion – so have your questions ready!
