The MHBA recently hosted its Annual Curling FUNspiel at the Heather Curling Club on March 7, 2024, and what a day it was! Members gathered for a day filled with excitement, camaraderie, and of course, some friendly competition on the ice.
The turnout was phenomenal, with both seasoned veterans vying for the coveted trophy and newcomers eager to experience the thrill of curling for the first time. With a remarkable attendance of 28 teams, this year’s event marked the largest turnout we’ve seen in years, showcasing the growing enthusiasm from our members.

After an exhilarating day of competition, we witnessed a three-way tie between Hearth Homes 1, Hearth Homes 2, and the reigning champs, Harwood Design Builders. In a gripping tiebreaker, Harwood Design Builders emerged victorious, securing their impressive THREE-PEAT CHAMPION title.
