Next Saturday, Manitoba’s best home builders will begin a four week showcase of over 100 new show homes during the Manitoba Home Builders’ Association’s 2022 Fall Parade of Homes. Starting on October 15th, people will have the chance to see the newest trends in home building design and the latest fashions in home decorating. For those looking at buying a new home, the Parade of Homes is the perfect way to see the best in today’s new housing market. Not only does this year’s Fall parade again feature show homes in many of Winnipeg’s newest neighborhoods, there are also great show homes for viewing in Brandon, East St. Paul, Ritchot, Headingley, Oak Bluff, West St. Paul, La Salle, Stonewall, and St. Adolphe.

The MHBA Parade of Homes is also a chance to visit and explore the newest subdivisions and communities being developed right across the province. 24 communities are featured in this fall’s Parade of Homes, providing home seekers a wide variety of neighbourhood amenities and options. We also have entries that have been built in existing neighbourhoods that give visitors a great sense of the options available for those who are looking at building a new home in an older part of the City of Winnipeg.

With changing tastes and lifestyles, our builders understand that a detached single-family home may not be the right fit for everyone. That’s why new condos are also an important feature of the Parade of Homes. Condos are a very attractive option for many potential new home buyers and our builders have entered five new condo show homes for you to visit. There is truly something for everyone looking to enter the new home market in this fall’s Parade of Homes.

MHBA builders are working diligently to prepare their show homes despite several challenges that have impacted our sector. Due to these circumstances, the hours for some Parade homes may vary. We recommend checking the show home hours of the homes you plan on visiting prior to your visit. If you are more comfortable taking a private look at your favorite show home, we encourage you to book a private viewing outside of the Parade hours. This is an option available at all of the Parade show home and can be set up by contacting the builder directly.

Be sure to look for #PARADEOFHOMESMB and follow the MHBA on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter as we will be featuring each of the 31 different MHBA builders who together are presenting over 100 show homes in this year’s Fall Parade. Look for the 2022 Fall Parade of Homes Magazine in your Winnipeg Free Press home delivery. You can also pick up a copy at any Steinbach Credit Union and it’s available at www.homebuilders.mb.ca. Visiting the MHBA website will also provide you with more details on each Parade show home and connect you with your favorite show home’s builder.

You never know. You could just fall in love with one of the homes you see or a neighbourhood you visit and decide that a new home is right for you.
