On Thursday, November 25th, the Manitoba Home Builders’ Association was proud to once again host its annual Fall Parade of Homes Gala at the RBC Winnipeg Convention Centre to celebrate and recognize the winning entries in this year’s Fall Parade of Homes. Joe Aiello was a tremendous emcee for the evening.

This year there were 25 separate categories in the Fall Parade of Homes and gold, silver or bronze awards were given out to the homes deemed the best in each category by our volunteer judges. The Parade award winners were determined by a mix of Parade judging panels that reviewed the electronic submissions from each entrant and judging panels who visited each of the Parade Homes. Once again, the judging was extremely close in all of the categories. This is not surprising when you consider that our volunteer judges are faced with choosing a winner from an incredible selection of the best designed, best built and best displayed new homes in Canada.

The first three categories of awards were for condominiums. These included bungalows and townhouse style condos. The 22 remaining categories were for single family detached homes. These distinct categories are based on style (bungalow and two-storey) and price range.

One of the key messages of the evening was association membership. The strength of the Manitoba Home Builders’ Association comes from the support and engagement of its members. MHBA members are the leaders and community builders in our province’s residential construction sector.
