How long has your company been in business?
The Carriage brand was introduced to Winnipeg in 2021, after over 30 years of building in Alberta.

Carriage provides additional choice for those looking for a new home, specifically for those looking for more customized designs and elevated finishes.

Craftsman. Driven. Committed.
How has the pandemic impacted your business and how have you adapted?
The pandemic was certainly challenging, especially navigating supply shortages. However, our team and trades showed great resilience, and kept construction moving forward.
What is your company’s greatest achievement?
The strong support of Winnipeg to our business. Having launched during the pandemic, we were cautious about our ability to sell in an unpredictable market. We are proud of the volume of builds we started during this time, and the exceptional quality of our finished homes.
What us your business goal for 2022?
To continue to create homes that are not just decidedly better, but inspired by our clients. To create what others deemed to difficult or impossible. To create originals.
How long have you been a MHBA member & what type of membership?
We have been a builder member since 2021.
Why did you decide to join the MHBA?
The MHBA membership roster represents the very finest in home builders. We understand the value of being able to showcase and market our work, alongside these other builders.
What is the best part about being a MHBA member?
The opportunity to participate in the Parade of Homes, and showcase our Showhomes, Our entire team gets involved in ensuring every detail is considered, and we are extremely proud, to enter our Showhomes and show them to a wide audience.
What is your favourite MHBA event? Why? The Fall Parade of Homes Gala, as it gives the opportunity to connect with fellow builders, and the Awards portion gives the opportunity to celebrate the best in new home design.
How has being an MHBA benefited your business?
The MHBA is a strong advocate for the new home industry in our province. An example of this is the work the association did throughout the pandemic to provide guidance and ensure the continued operation of our industry and continued exceptional service to all future homeowners.
What is your favourite project that your company has done?
My favourite model is our Kailyn model. Our first showhome in Winnipeg, and the most popular model we build. It is an incredibly functional and flexible layout, allowing for such customizations as the addition of a spice kitchen and mainfloor bedroom.
What advice would you give to a business just starting out in your industry?
Understand the true strength of your business, and find a way to use these competencies to match the need’s of your clients. Find something unique, that no one else is doing, so your builds are unique in some way.
